Yorkshire Party candidates in this week’s local election have been praised by the Party’s elections co-ordinator.
Bob Buxton, the Executive Committee member who is himself a candidate in the local poll, said: “Even voters who are sick of Brexit to the point they may not vote, are still prepared to talk about local issues – their issues.
“My sincere thanks go to everyone who’s stood up for their community, especially those who’ve never been in politics before.”
“Candidates across Yorkshire are being welcomed on the doorstep as a breath of fresh air, as people who care about the communities they live and work in – not like career politicians.
“I say to those who may never vote again – Yorkshire Party candidates are the solution to the Westminster problem.”
Bob is standing for Guiseley and Rawdon in the Leeds City and for re-election to Rawdon Parish elections next week.
