Yorkshire Party Executive Committee member and leader of the Membership Working Group.

He is Wakefield District Branch Chair and has been a candidate in various elections for the Yorkshire Party.

Martin is 31 and lives in Ackworth, grew up in east Leeds and works in Wakefield.

Pontefract North – Arnie Craven

Yorkshire Party Executive Committee member and leader of the Elections Working Group.

He has been involved in campaigns for regional devolution for more than 10 years.


Castleford Central & Glasshoughton – Paul Phelps

Paul stood in the Wakefield Council ‘s Wakefield West by-election in November 2017. He had previously switched to the Yorkshire Party from Labour, having been a Labour councillor in Wakefield.



Harrogate 4

Yorkshire Party Treasurer and Executive Committee member.

John was born in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire in 1947.  Having retired as a managing director of a company that he started in 1981, he moved with his family to the Harrogate area in 2014.

Mayoral election

Mick Bower

Mick  is from , Whiston, Rotherham. He went to Oakwood Comprehensive School and later returned there to work as a teacher.

He has also worked in road safety, sports journalism and business information.

Mick has previously stood for the Yorkshire Party in Sitwell ward Rotherham MBC in 2016 and in Rotherham in the 2017 General Election.

He has been a member of the Yorkshire Party’s steering committee.
