The Party’s campaign focuses on four pledges:
Winning fair funding for Yorkshire’s schools, to address systematic underinvestment;
Banning fracking while promoting green, sustainable energy generation;
Protecting the NHS, to make sure people receive treatment based on need rather than their ability to pay;
Investing in transport to improve local roads and rail services.
The Party doubled its share of the vote to almost 4%, earning 50,842 votes, but insufficient to gain a seat for a team of six candidates, headed by Leader Chris Whitwood.
